Finnish illustrator Hannu Taina

There's a Finnish children's book series about a bear called Uppo-Nalle by author Elina Karjalainen. Some of her books were illustrated by Hannu Taina who draws really beautiful watercolour pictures.

The one below shows Uppo-Nalle sitting in a garden. The postcard on the right is a typical scene of the book with the girl Reeta, Uppo-Nalle and the dog named Laulava lintukoira (Finnish for "singing bird dog") sitting down reading.

Thanks to postcrosser Kallioranta from Finland for sending me this card.
