| I totally loved this as a child. It a fantastic story of a tiger who rings the door when Sophie and her Mum are having tea. He is very hungry and eats and drinks literally everything in the house. When the father comes home in the evening they have to eat at a restaurant which everyone enjoys. The author Judith Kerr illustrated the story herself with simple but lovely pictures . My edition is from 1979 by Ravensburger. |
