French stamps

On French postcards you usually get the same picture in different colours, a woman's head. For example this one on the left:

On my last two postcrossing cards the senders chose different and much more beautiful ones, both kind of special.

The first shows lavender, a plant often seen in France in huge fields for the production of essential oils and perfumes. It has some seeds of the plant glued on it!

The second one has got a collection of famous sights of France on it, inviting the receiver to visit.
