Moldavites are the only precious stones in the world created by a meteorite impact. This meteorite went down more than 14 million years ago in the south of Germany and as a byproduct of the impact moldavites rained down on earth, most of them in the area if he Czech Republic.
There - in Český Krumlov - a museum was opened to inform about the geology and the beauty of the moldavites.
The card was sent by Hana from the Czech Republic.
