Parallel to the normal goodreads reading challenge (how many books do you want to read this year?) they implemented more specific challenges. There are twelve bookmarks to be earned for every season, every three months. I finished the "winter challenge". For most categories there was a specific list of books, pre-selected. If you read a book from the list, the bookmark was added. I was able to cross of some with books from my to-read-list, some I especially read for the challenge - sometimes it is nice to leave your comfort zone.
