Yellow Horses

After taking a longer break from postcrossing I recently restarted this hobby again and now the first cards are coming in again - what a joy!

 

Here's one from Joke from the Netherlands who likes expressionistic art like me. She chose well, it's the Little Yellow Horses by Franz Marc, one of my favourite artists. He painted it in 1912. So sad, that he died early in 1916 in World War I when he was only 36 years old. Imagine what he could have created if he had lived longer...
